Experience an adventure with the team & Amancio in the Land of the Gaucho
Spend unforgettable days with us full of riding adventures, impressive nature, and Argentinian delicacies in the wild and romantic landscape of the San Luis province. We spend the night in our base camp on a farm in the middle of the "Sierras Centrales" mountains - together we ride through the breathtaking landscape at altitudes of up to 2000m, watch the condors circling in the sky, bathe in the crystal-clear water of the rivers, and sit together around the campfire, singing Argentinian folklore & playing guitar while we enjoy a glass of Malbec and the impressive view of the starry sky. In addition to many day rides through the spectacular natural surroundings, the highlight is a three-day riding trail with two overnight stays in the wilderness.

Travel Overview
Date: 10. - 16. March 2025
You have the flexibility to arrive 1-2 days earlier or stay 1-2 days longer, depending on your individual travel plans.Cost: 1.900€ for the whole program (incl. overnight stay, riding program, and full board with us) - Alternatively: 360€ / day
Number of Participants: 4 - 10 P.
Arrival: e.g. by night bus (exclusive) from Buenos Aires to San Luis, then 1.5 hour transfer from San Luis to base camp. (We will be happy to send you further information)
Accommodation: Base camp in the middle of the mountains on a farm (1.5 hours from the town of San Luis).
Riding Level: from Intermediate (we mainly ride in the mountains and mainly at a walk & trot due to the ground conditions & duration of the rides, but also cross rivers, etc.)
Horses: Criollo mix (gaucho horses), calm, sure-footed, robust & reliable, ridden with comfortable gaucho saddles (with sheepskin)
Time in the Saddle: 4 - 6 hours per day

Program
- Riding adventure vacation in Argentina with Amancio, Pia & other members of our Cavalan team
- 3 day rides (March 10 - 12) & a 3-day riding trail with 2 overnight stays in the “wilderness” (March 13 - 15)
- 6 overnight stays: 4 in the base camp (on the grounds of a farm- shower & toilets available) & 2 on the riding trail
- Breakfast, lunch (picnic) & dinner together incl. traditional Argentinian asados (BBQ) - vegetarian options also available
- Insights into the authentic preparation of Argentinian dishes & outdoor cooking
- Evenings together around the campfire with Argentinian wines, guitar, and a view of the starry sky
- Swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the rivers
